Mr Adrian Gradinar
- Digital Public Space, Internet of Things
Adrian finished his undergraduate studies at Lancaster University with a BSc (Hons) in Information and Communication Systems in July 2013. During his academic studies, he showed a keen interest in mobile application development having worked with the Knowledge Business Centre in InfoLab21 for the last two years of his undergraduate studies as a Technical Consultant delivering high quality products both on mobile and web platforms.
In October 2013 he joined The Creative Exchange Hub within Imagination Lancaster at Lancaster University as a PhD student. His main research area lies within the Digital Public Space and how the emergence of the Internet of Things, and connected objects, will change people’s perception of what the Digital Public Space is. In particular he is looking at how the Internet of Things could bring ideas of legibility, tangibility and physicality to the current notion of Digital Public Space.
