Arrivals and Departures: Hull City of Culture

Andrew Quick has been working on a major project for Hull City of Culture with his company Imitating the dog. The piece examines the history of migration from a contemporary perspective, exploring the journeys which have gathered a population and moulded a landscape. It uses The Deep as both canvas and building blocks and looks at some of the strands of the complex and universal issues surrounding migration as a wider subject matter.
