Common Grounds : Exhibition Catalogue
Common Grounds Lace Drawn from the Everyday is a 56 page catalogue accompanying the exhibition Common Grounds at The Bowes Museum 2 May ‑22 June 2015. The catalogue is fully illustrated and includes an essay by Blackborne Lace expert Annabel Talbot on the category B section of the world renowned Blackborne Lace collection, a new found poem on Casey’s drawing by award winning poet Elizabeth Burns and a conversation between artist Sarah Casey and Gerry Davies Senior Lecturer in Drawing at Lancaster University. All 54 drawings produced for the exhibition are reproduced in colour in the catalogue.
